Physical Climate Risk Insights combines physical climate risk data gathered from geo-spatial satellite imagery and machine learning models developed by climate scientists, along with global-leading firmographics and financial characteristics from D&B, providing future-ready visibility needed for predicting climate-related risks to foster more resilient business relationships.

Provides climate risk insights on nine perils (Flood, Wildfire, Drought, Hurricane/Typhoon, Extreme Heat, Cold, Precipitation, Wind, and Sea Level Rise) across four time horizons (Historical Baseline, Current, Short-Term Forecasts (monthly), and two long-term 2050 projection scenarios (SSP2 4.5 “Intermediate” and SSP5 8.5 “High Risk”), covering almost 250 million global corporate locations.

Provides scores that combine the physical climate risk insights data with corporate linkage, business risk, property & building characteristics, country risks, supply chains, and other critical Dun & Bradstreet insights, to calculate an entity’s risk of encountering a climate related disruption and their probability of recovery. 

The Climate Exposure Indices are currently available on five perils (Drought, Flood, Hurricane/Typhoon, Sea Level Rise, and Wildfire), across the four time horizons (Historical Baseline, Current, Short-Term Forecasts (monthly), and two long -term 2050 projection scenarios (SSP2 4.5 “Intermediate” and SSP5 8.5 “High Risk”) for a given business location, headquarters (full family tree), and known tier-1 suppliers, in aggregate. The coverage is almost 250 million global corporate locations.

PDF reports are not available for all markets, including Canada.

Block Description:

Entity Resolution is the process by which we assign a Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S® Number to client data and enables client data to be compared with standardized records held in the Dun & Bradstreet Data Cloud. This is often referred to as “matching”. 

Entity Resolution is undertaken for the purposes of: Identifying duplicates within a client’s database; searching for a specific entity; or validating a D-U-N-S Number. 

This capability delivers only match results. Company Information Level 1 must be licensed in conjunction with this capability.

Notifies users about changes to the Dun & Bradstreet Data Cloud for registered D-U-N-S Numbers. Monitoring push notifications are available at the following frequencies: intraday, daily, weekly, monthly.

Monitoring is provided on any capability licensed by a customer.
