HKECIC - D&B Export Credit Risk Index
As Hong Kong enterprises expand into global markets, they face growing exposure to economic, regulatory, and geopolitical shifts. To help exporters navigate these uncertainties, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC) jointly developed the HKECIC – D&B Export Credit Risk Index. By combining D&B’s global risk intelligence with HKECIC’s insurance and payment data, the Index offers a clear and practical view of market and industry credit risks across key export destinations, helping businesses identify emerging risks and make informed decisions with confidence.

Index MethodologyThe Index is built by combining two key information sources: real export‑related data from HKECIC and global country‑risk insights from Dun & Bradstreet. These data points are processed through a straightforward scoring model to generate easy‑to‑read market and industry indices. The result is a clear snapshot of export credit risk across major markets, helping Hong Kong businesses quickly see where risks may be rising or easing and make smart decisions.
