Dun & Bradstreet welcomed a full audience of industry professionals to ESG Thought Leadership Seminar, where participants examined how governance is evolving from a regulatory requirement into a strategic foundation for sustainable value creation.

The seminar provided a platform for senior leaders across finance, investment, corporate governance and risk management to exchange perspectives on the role of governance in shaping the next phase of ESG development.

Opened with keynote remarks from distinguished representatives from the public and private sectors, followed by an address from Mr. Joseph Chan, Under Secretary for Finance Services and the Treasury, and Mr.  Andrew Wu, General Manager of Dun & Bradstreet China, setting the tone for a forward‑looking discussion on the future of ESG and sustainable finance, emphasizing the importance of governance as the foundation of trust, transparency and responsible business conduct.

A featured panel discussion, moderated by Ms. Michelle Mak, Head of ESG and Enterprise Learning at Dun & Bradstreet, brought together senior representatives from key organizations across the ESG and financial ecosystem, including the Asian Corporate Governance Association, BlackRock, the Hong Kong Green Finance Association, HSBC Commercial Banking, and the CFA Society Hong Kong. Collectively, these organizations contributed perspectives spanning investment stewardship, emerging regulatory expectations, banking and risk management trends, and the evolving role of governance in shaping enterprise‑wide sustainability strategies.
